HarmonyOS Update for Huawei Pura 70 Pro: AI Image Expansion Feature
With this update, the gallery app now includes the AI image expansion feature, which intelligently fills in the missing parts of your photos. How does it work? By using AI composition algorithms and image generation techniques to analyze the photo’s content, it predicts and fills in the missing areas, offering a broader perspective.
This means that Huawei Pura 70 Pro users can now expand their photos without having to crop them. Additionally, some app experiences have been optimized with this update, providing a smoother and more enjoyable user experience overall. Li Xiaolong, CTO of Huawei Terminal BG, mentioned that he personally tested and was very pleased with this new AI image expansion feature.
While users are curious if this feature will come to the standard version, Li Xiaolong confirmed that they have increased their cloud computing power and will offer this support in the future. Currently, only the Pura 70 Pro+ and Pura 70 Ultra models support this feature. However, the standard version and the Beidou satellite communication version will also receive this feature soon.
